Tera Marie launched Ojai Valley Transaction Coordinators in 2012 with the intention of helping her home-town reators spend more time in front of clients and less time on administrative tasks, compliance and the ever-changing paperwork puzzle.  The demand for her next-level approach to file management quickly spread and OVTC morphed in to Ventura County Transaction Coordinators.

Choosing to see the challenges of 2020 as an opportunity, Tera pivoted her approach to running her company and decided to pursue her dream of part-time living on the Central Coast.  With a little help from her friends (and thanks to the extremely happy clients of VC|TC),  the company’s area of service has expanded to Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.

Today, VC Transaction Coordinators, still widely known as VCTC, supports hundreds of successful real estate agents up and down the California coast and surrounding areas.

The VC|TC team currently includes three Licensed or Certified Transaction Coordinators and two full-time Administrative Assistants who have worked together for several years and follow VC|TC’s highly refined proprietary systems. Real Estate Agents are carefully paired with a primary TC to ensure a good fit and the company-wide systems allow any member of the VC|TC team to easily and efficiently step in if an agent’s primary TC is out of the office.

Tera Marie Brandolino


If there’s one thing Tera Marie knows, it’s the importance of properly executed paperwork and efficient procedures. Tera began working as a Transaction Coordinator in 2011 after spending 20 years as a litigation paralegal. Her experience in the legal field gave her the unique ability to manage timeframes, decipher contracts, escrow-related paperwork, reports and disclosures. This knowledge, combined with her love of systems and spending time with people, quickly propelled her from a solo service provider to Founder and Team Leader of VC|TC, leading a team of exceptional transaction coordinators in the Tri-Counties.

A 2017 breast cancer diagnosis prompted Tera Marie to focus on her health while her loyal team continued to deliver the unprecedented service VC|TC clients had come to expect. When she returned full-time, her team encouraged her to focus her renewed energy and zest for life doing what she loves most. Now she gets to spend her time connecting in fun ways with clients and other real estate service providers (golf anyone?); traveling the country with her recently retired hubby; daydreaming about spa days with her beautiful daughters Amy and Amber while creating opportunities for her valued team to earn a respectable income while enjoying everyday moments with their partners and children.

When she’s not working on a transaction, talking about a transaction or thinking about a transaction, you can find her at the kitchen (no, not that kitchen!), on the pickleball courts living up to her middle school nickname of Too Tall Tera, snacking on salt water taffy and popcorn (at the same time!) or exploring the amazing California Coast and surrounding cities that she has called “home” for over 50 years.

Fun Fact: Tera moved in with her husband two weeks after she met him….(it was the 80s, people!)  They’re more happily married than ever, over 30 years later.

Christa Clegg-Green

Senior Transaction Coordinator (May 2013)

THE OG Employee of VCTC! 

Christa’s strong work ethic and “can-do” attitude are what make her a great TC. No matter what the issue is, she will figure out a way to get the job done with a positive attitude and a smile. Christa is the “go-to” girl for making sure that every “i” is dotted and every “t” is crossed. “Works well under pressure” is an understatement – this woman THRIVES under pressure!

Christa has her California Real Estate License as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. She lives on the beautiful Central Coast with her two adorable boys and the love of her life, Jordan. She kills it in her role as a “Boy Mom”; unphased by the craziness of life as a Boy Mom and TC Extraordinairre!

Nicki Wakefield

TC Assistant – Team Christa (January 2017)

Nicki was born and raised in Ventura County and was recently able to move to Magnolia, Texas to pursue her dream of living in The Lone Star State with her twin girls and husband, Mike.

Supporting Christa and specializing in our Ojai, California market, Nicki is always willing to go the extra mile to help transactions progress through the disclosure stage behind the scenes as smoothly as possible. Nicki joined VCTC in 2017 after a career in the legal field. She loves assisting Christa and and they make a great team!

Fun Fact: Nicki and her sister married two brothers and they do everything together; including moving to Texas!

Simone Volkman

Lead Transaction Coordinator (July 2016)

Simone’s friendly and accommodating personality, combined with her attention to detail, ensure a smooth transaction every time. She loves helping her agents free up time to build their businesses and enjoy some time off, too. Simone started at a local real estate brokerage, where she learned all about the details of contracts and disclosures while assisting with broker compliance for the entire office. She brings this knowledge and eagerness to learn new aspects of the contract to every transaction.

Currently serving as the Lead Transaction Coordinator, Simone helps set the tone of the culture within VCTC to one of team work and high level customer service.

Simone was born and raised in Ventura County, and now works remotely from Southern Oregon. Simone is a Certified Transaction Coordinator.

Fun Fact: Simone’s favorite pet is her Red Tail Boa Constrictor, Lilith.  

Heather Price

TC Assistant to Simone (January 2020)

The most recent addition to VCTC, Heather worked as a Loan Officer before transitioning to a Real Estate Assistant to a top-producing team where she fell in love with the paperwork side of Real Estate. Not many people can say they love the piles of paperwork, but she does… “There is nothing more satisfying than checking off that last checkmark on your list!”

Heather moved with her better half in 2016 to the Central Coast where she began teaches group fitness classes for fun. She loves the sense of community this small town brings and being close to her family. Her ability to keep a smile on her face through any challenge will keep your transaction flowing smoothly right to that last checkmark!

Fun Fact: Heather’s mom, two sisters and their families all live within five minutes of each other in San Luis Obispo, California.
